How to Dress Your Man in the New Year

I've been blogging for a little over year and every now and then a guy asks me, "When are you going to start blogging about men's fashion?" I admit it, the first few times I dismissed the idea. Partly because I couldn't believe that guys were actually interested in fashion or what I had to say about it. Well, as more and more of my guy friends starting asking me, it became apparent they actually trusted my advice and wanted my help. So I put my knowledge of fashion and skills to the test and took a few of them up on their offers to go shopping. At first, I was nervous about entering a realm I thought I knew nothing about. I mean, I'm a woman who knows how to dress herself, but what the heck do I know about men's fashion? As soon as I walked into the stores, however, all the inspiration and creativity came rushing to me and I was unstoppable. I just used my eye for detail and knowledge of the trends, plus a basic idea of the style of the individual whom I was dressing and viola! Before I knew it, they were in the dressing room trying on (and loving!) everything I picked out for them- even those pieces that were outside of their comfort zones. My experiences opened my eyes to the fact that I really just love fashion in all forms and for all shapes, genders, and sizes. Below, I hope to motivate you to give your man a makeover for the new year and inspire you with a look that suits every kind of personality, from athletic and outdoorsy to preppy and suit and tie. This year, don't just revamp your style, give his a little facelift too and be that unstoppable power couple.
