Think ladylike bad girl more than A+ student by wearing it slung low on the hip. If you're tall, embrace the midi trend. On the petite side? Pick a hemline that sweeps just above or at your knees.

Seek out materials that are airy, yet crisp enough to hold the sharp pleats. Summery, lightweight cotton and graceful chiffon work wonders with the flow of the swingy shape.

Outfit
Counteract the proportions of a fuller bottom with a fitted top, like a body-skimming T or a sleek, tucked in button-front. Opt for stacked heels or wedge sandals to ground the floaty feel.
