The sweet shade once reserved for little girl's rooms, dollhouses, and bubblegum is now one of fashion's most sophisticated colors. When designers like Nanette Lepore and Rachel Roy began featuring the appealing color prominently in their runway collections, the preppy pastel was given a luxurious treatment with lush new patterns and rich textures. This enthusiasm has since spilled over into ready-to-wear everything, from stilettos to sandals to sunnies. Personally, I've always loved the color pink, but for those of you who need more convincing, the hue is extremely versatile and flatters every skin tone.
