While bold prints and pops of neon are perfectly on trend, Spring is also about bringing back the softness. Pastels are a great departure from the bold prints and bright colors shown in many other collections. Pastels are soft, feminine, and light and go great with neutrals like cream and beige.
My reservation about wearing pastels has always been the fear that I would resemble my younger self dressed in her Easter best. To avoid any such fashion mishaps, go for looks that feature color blocking, rather than white based pieces- for instance, pair pastel mint with sherbet or soft blues and purples.
