This pinstripe coat from Comme des Garcons- sort of dress-coat hybrid with a menswear vibe- appealed to me in a visceral way as soon as I spotted it on Fall 2013/Winter 2014 runways. (I knew the shade would play well with my cream and gray basics). After searching unsuccessfully for my size longer than I care to admit, I decided it was time to move on and console myself with other well-tailored pinstripe pieces. Sophisticated enough for the office, yet cool enough for drinks, the boy-meets-girl look will have you pining for pinstripes.
