Shadow Play

For most women, there's one feature on our face that we love. And with the eyes being the "window to our souls," there's no surprise that they top the list for a lot of us. So what are the few items that you can't live without when it comes to your makeup bag? A killer eyeshadow palette should absolutely be one of them for Spring 2015.

When you're looking to transition from the office to dinner out, palettes are great tools because not only do they give you options, but they're formulated for you, with colors that already blend perfectly. While it's extremely hard to choose, I rounded up some of my favorite palettes -- ranging from 3 colors to 10 colors -- some of which are steals, while others are a bit of a splurge.  So go ahead, pick your palette!

Tarte Neutral EYES Volume II Natural Eye Palette

All of the shades in this Tarte palette are fairly neutral, but all pack a good punch when it comes to pigment. The pinks are especially good for emphasizing hazel eyes. And isn't the packaging to die for? I want it as a clutch!

Smashbox Photo Op Eye Shadow Trio

One of my all-time faves, Smashbox never lets you down when you want your eyes to really pop.

Bobbi Brown Navy & Nude Eye Palette

This palette is new from Bobbi Brown, and I'm seriously obsessed.  It's a lovely mix of matte and shimmer you don't want to miss -- just imagine the statement you'll make with that navy blue.

Dior 5-Colour Eyeshadow- 116 Victorie

When you hear the name Dior, you know you're getting quality. Dab the bright cream color in the corners of your eyes and let your eyes really pop.

Sephora Collection Moonshadow Baked Palette-In the Nude

Not only is this palette a steal, price-wise, but it's filled with versatile colors that will take you from season to season.

L'Oreal Colour Riche Eye Shadow

The Color Riche eyeshadow quads are four perfectly-selected colors that blend so well, your eyes will be all anyone notices.

bareMinerals Ready Eyeshadow 4.0 Quads- The Happy Place

These pretty neutral shades are great for the office, but the dark accents will take you from day-to-night in no time!

Urban Decay Naked Basics Palette

The Urban Decay Naked palettes are absolutely essential, so I was beyond excited when this Basics palette came out.  Subtle shades you'll love!

Too Faced Natural Eyes Neutral Eye Shadow Collection

With sassy names like sexpresso and nude beach, the shadows in this palette are bold and they come with how-to cards for multiple different looks. Win-win!
