Fashion Intervention

Because of the constant scrutiny they receive for their appearances most celebrities make sure to be camera ready any time they step out in public.  To ensure that they always achieve that picture perfect look celebrities even pay professional stylists millions of dollars a year to look their best every day.  Based upon the images snapped by photogs this past week, however, Kanye, Kesha, Lady Gaga and Lindsay Lohan are clearly not most celebrities.  These celebrities are screaming for a fashion intervention as their recent faux pas have surely landed them on several "Worst Dressed of the Week" lists.
Up to this point, I've directed my criticisms at Joe and Jane Schmo for their lack of fashion sense.  I've realized, however, that celebrities who employ an army of stylists, makeup artists and hair dressers to ensure they always look their best are the ones who deserve to be critiqued.  Even if they themselves lack some semblance of fashion sense there's only two reasons why Gaga, Lilo, Ye, and Kesha looked the way they did this past week: either they regrettably fired their stylists or their stylists, unable to give in to their unreasonable demands any longer, quit leaving them to their own devices.

Kayne's Operation Desert Storm:

Kayne was spotted in Paris last week during Fashion Week wearing this look.  With the red mask covering everything but his eyes you would think Ye was preparing for a dust storm in the deserts of Dubai rather than heading to a couture fashion show.

 Kesha's Michael Jackson Miss:
While in Tokoyo last week Kesha may have thought she was channeling her inner MJ, but all she wound up achieving was the 1970s "sofa and drapes chic."  I swear I've seen this brocade fabric through plastic sofa covers in every Italian grandmother's home I've ever been in.

Gaga Meets Mrs. Roper:

Nope, Gaga wasn't cast to play Mrs. Roper in a remake of the 1970s hit "Three's Company."  Nor, will she be playing a Stepford Wife any time soon.  But hey, if either opportunity comes along there will be no need to hire wardrobe people because she's already got the costume.

Lilo's Hairy Mistake:

Here's the infamous troubled actress arriving at JFK airport in NY last week.  I don't even know where to begin with this horrific look.  Everything from the floppy suede hat, to the baggy leather pants, pilgrim boots and coat with fur sleeves is just so wrong.  Clearly, there's only two explanations: Halloween must have come early this year and Lindsay is dressing as a gorilla or she was high on blow when she picked out her outfit.  My bet is on the latter.
